Too bad that italki only has ratings that go up to 5 stars. Because I would give Raphaela 6 stars, if it were possible. For today's lesson, we use a multi-stage approach to extract every bit of value possible out of a Brazilian song. First, I listened to the song, without doing anything, just to get used to the sound of it. Second, I listened to it again, by writing down as many words / phrases that I could identity. Third, Raphaela showed me the actual lyrics to this song, and compared my scribbles to the real answers. We read the lyrics to the song. Then we conjugated all the verbs that we saw in the song, and wrote new sentences with those verbs. Out of 50 teachers that I have had on italki, her methods rank in the top 2-3: highly effective and fun
