Languages have allowed me to travel, study, and work in different countries, participate in major international events, meet a multitude of interesting people, and experience things I could never have imagined. Now, I’m working to bring these opportunities to my students.
I grew up in Russia, have worked in the U.S., lived in Rio de Janeiro, volunteered at the Rio Olympic Games, and have been living in Argentina since 2019.
I’m also a big fan of science and am currently pursuing a degree in biosciences at the University of Buenos Aires.
In my free time, I enjoy social dancing (salsa, zouk, samba, tango, etc.), singing, observing nature, and cooking.Ich als Lehrkraft
Languages, to me, are all about navigating the real world, and that’s what I try to teach my students. I like to use authentic materials such as articles, social media posts, YouTube videos, etc., choosing topics relevant to today’s world. I’m also a strong proponent of a systematic approach, so I ensure that we cover all aspects of language (grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary), reinforce previously gained knowledge, and work on all skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing). Each student is unique in their strengths and weaknesses, so I adapt my teaching and use a variety of materials to match each student’s preferences and needs.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
Depending on your needs, the lessons can be more speaking-focused or include work on all language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking). In both cases, I use various materials and a digital board, so you can keep all the information after the lesson, review the material, and complete your homework, etc.
