Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about different places and accents in China. We also talked about popular culture in China, which singers are popular and toured in China, etc. We also discussed the relationships that China has with other countries. Ziyu is very easy to talk to and it was a fun lesson!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about Halloween traditions and different superstitions like unlucky numbers. We discussed Christmas trees and advent calendars. We also talked about tattoos and how westerners get bad tattoos of Chinese characters. It was a fun discussion!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about the holidays, Labubu, buddhism, sleeping on the plane and people who sleep early/late. Ziyu is always good to talk to and practice conversations. Ziyu is easy to understand and our discussions are a good back-and-forth.!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about a variety of things, such as traveling for work. Ziyu told me about a recent controversy with a handicapped person that happened at the Shenzhen airport, which led to discussing various handicaps. Ziyu also mentioned a recent news story about 娃哈哈 company, which I knew about. It was a fun discussion and I got a lot of good speaking practice!

Great lesson with Ziyu! We talked about a variety of things - including riding the train/subway, wearing a watch, electric cars and having the latest phone. Lessons with Ziyu are really helping my speaking because I am much better able to add my thoughts to the discussion. Ziyu is a fun conversation partner!
