Itay Dafan

Itay is very good at anticipating my questions, and in explaining minor grammatical or vocab points. I also like how he can speed up and slow down his speech in Hebrew to help my aural comprehension.

I really had a nice first lesson with Itay. He is very sincere, helpful and tenderhearted. He listened to what I wanted and used it as a starting point, and then he was prepared with resources to take me from that starting point onward. Even though I was struggling quite a bit, he constantly affirmed me for what I did right. I liked Itay's teaching style and will want to sign up for more classes.

Itay is an amazing teacher. I've worked with him for months and he's helped push my Hebrew to the next level. I'll continue working with him and can't recommend him enough!

I really enjoyed my first lesson. I learned a lot in a short time and had a lot of fun in the process. I learned a lot of new vocabulary. I enjoyed going through the lyrics of a popular Israeli song. It’s a fun method. The lesson started on time. Itay also gave me recommendations and resources so I can learn more on my own. I look forward to more lessons with Itay in the future.

He is the best!

I've had a lot of Hebrew teachers over the past 10+ years and Itay is one of the best. Every lesson with him is interesting and challenges me, which is exactly what I need as an advanced speaker. 5 stars!
