Today, we continued working on detailed descriptions and reviewed my notes on the video we’ve been using for this exercise. For an engineer, it's crucial to both follow instructions and provide clear, precise commands at work. Thankfully, Marie has already helped me significantly in this area, and I feel much more confident on the job because of it. I truly appreciate the effort Marie puts into our lessons, and I hope this wonderful journey continues.

Today, we dissected our bushcraft video with surgical precision. The "surgery" was challenging, but we did well, and the "patient" is in good shape! These lessons give me plenty of real opportunities to improve my English in a very effective way. Thanks, Marie, for being such a great mentor and guiding me through this tricky territory.

Today, we tackled another paragraph from the book I’m translating into English. This exercise is incredibly powerful because it combines every aspect of learning a foreign language - vocabulary, grammar, reading (and thus pronunciation). Plus, going over each sentence encourages real, often dynamic conversation. What more could you ask for?
