Yangyang Alissa

I've had weekly classes with Alissa since May of last year. She is a kind and patient teacher and committed to my student goals. She adapts classes so I can improve where needed. I always feel that she values class time . We have good and happy times but are always focused on accomplishing the learning expected for the class. I truly recommend her.

Alissa prepared material for the class that I found to be helpful for me. Alissa helps me in many areas like pronunciation, reading, grammar, and listening. She helps me each class to improve my tones which is really important to me since I am still at a beginner level. Her classes are great and I would recommend her!

I've taken 32 lessons with Alissa so far and I've learned so much. She always tailors the lessons to my needs and interests. She's prepared with enough material and I feel more comfortable with grammar now. Thank you!

I haven’t studied again for a while. We had a great start into a new round of italki sessions. Conversation was well adjusted to my level. Good room to warm up again speaking.

Alissa was really well-prepared and explained all the grammar and vocabulary points that I had questions about in a very engaging and helpful way, using lesson materials, whiteboard notes, and examples. I look forward to taking more classes with her!
