Hi, everyone! My name is Maria, I'm Brazilian but I've been living in Italy since 2017.
I've been teaching for 13 years and I love it! I speak four languages: Portuguese, English, Italian and a little German. I love spending time outdoors, watching the sea or having a walk. I absolutely love travelling. Besides Brazil and Italy, I’ve been to England, Scotland, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Portugal, but there are still so many countries on my “to-go” list! What about you? I can’t wait to hear about you as well!

I’m a professional language teacher. I have a degree in Languages (Portuguese and English) and I’m specialized in Translation. I have over ten years of teaching experience and I’ve delivered all kinds of lessons, from exam preparation to conversation class, from kids to adults.

My lessons are flexible and focused on your needs and learning style. In our first class, we will have a chat so I can evaluate your current level of English or Portuguese. Then, we will discuss your goals and availability so that I can create the best study plan for you.

Maria is a wonderful and patient teacher! I really appreciate the variety of exercises we do - they are fun, challenging, and fitting of my level. And because she teaches in Portuguese and initiates practice chats throughout, I find myself naturally trying to come up with phrases to speak with her despite my fear of getting it wrong! This has helped a lot in honing my speaking skills, which I find to be the most challenging part of language learning.

Maria e’ davvero una ragazza ed una insegnante incredibilmente attenta, premurosa e preparata.
E’ molto paziente e molto disponibile. La mia esperienza personale con Maria e’ super positiva. Lei ha un modo di comunicare tranquillo e sereno che ti mette subito nella condizione ottimali per imparare. Una ragazza che oltre ad un garbo e gentilezza che non vanno date per scontanti oggi come oggi, ha un suo metodo personale d’insegnamento davvero comprensibile a noi principiante.
Sono molto felice di averla conosciuta e i miei obiettivi con lei con l’inglese ora sono certa che posso raggiungerli.
