So patient and knowledgeable!! I really appreciate how she tailors each lesson to my specific goals and the PowerPoint format she uses to teach new concepts.

Candy is an extremely knowledgeable and attentive teacher. She makes sure you understand everything before moving onto the next lesson and plans out personally how she wants to approach each learning aspect with you. She also encourages you to find what works for you in terms of learning Chinese, and isn't strict about how you learn the language.

This is my umpteenth return to learning Chinese, and I already feel really positive about making this attempt stick thanks to my first lesson with Candy (and overall, in the past two years). She was very prepared to adjust to my "false beginner" level, engaged with my half-Chinese, half-English output throughout and gave me actionable feedback at the end alongside a possible lesson plan/structure for next time (while inviting my own input about my goals), which felt very encouraging. I would definitely book another lesson with Candy.
