Karen from Colombia

Karen is one of the best teachers on Italki. She has experience teaching and it shows. Here classes are always very well planned and executed. She uses methods that work very well and I have seen a significant increase in my Spanish in the time that I have been taking classes with her. I would highly recommend taking classes with her.

Karen is a prepared, patient and engaged teacher. She always comes to class with an interesting photo or article to prompt our discussions. I also like the way she makes corrections in an extremely organized and understandable chart.

Karen is an amazing teacher, and more than that, a fabulously intelligent and fun person to have a conversation with! She has given me priceless direction in finding music, podcasts and lectures in Spanish that are stimulating and engaging, and provide fuel for our lessons that fly by. Best Spanish teacher ever! Very effective pedagogical methods. Thanks to Karen I learn at high speed. And most importantly, it is such a pleasure to learn and chat with her that I never feel like working. Karen is interesting, fun, patient, always well prepared, and knows perfectly how to adjust her teaching methods to your level and needs. I started with her as complete beginner and am now advanced. I highly recommend!!!

Karen es una profesora bien cualificada, y realmente me encantan mis clases con ella. Hablamos de temas distintos e interesantes, y siempre me siento cómoda durante nuestras conversaciones. Nunca tengo miedo de hacerle preguntas o cometer errores, porque siempre está dispuesta a ayudarme con la gramática y estructura correcta, dándome ejemplos y explicaciones claras. Además, Karen es muy motivadora, y quiere que yo beneficie de cada clase. La recomiendo como una maestra divertida, entusiasta y muy eficaz.
