Alan Johnson

Alan is an excellent teacher, his lessons had been very fun, I’ve enjoyed the playlists that he used to teach me about British culture. He has been so nice and he has helped me to clear all my doubts and missconceptions. Is a 10 out of 10, I will continue with Alan lessons for a long time.

I had always gone to the academy to learn English, but after my experience with Alan in private lessons, I discovered that in three months I have progressed more than in all the years of school and the academy. I speak with confidence and it is not difficult for me to study. Thank you so much Alan for motivating me and doing that so funny classes while I learn. I still have a lot to improve but I still have the same desire with which I started. I am 46, and I recommend that whoever has doubts, try it. It is worth the investment.

I approached Alan because of a passion we share, English music! I was caught by his 5 lessons course, what the heck can we say about it? That was the start to learn, beyond English grammar, a person, a teacher, precise and sensitive with whom I can speak freely and confidently about everything. Alan is competent in grammar, attentive to pronunciation, empathic. And when I’m in trouble, I can try with my poor Spanish or use Italian words so he can guess what I’m trying to say. My only regret is not to have more time to spend together.

Alan is a very attentive, patient and cheerful teacher with a good sense of humor. He prepared his material well and provided valuable feedback. I really enjoyed his classes and wouldn't hesitate to book another one.

Was great learning from Alan again and I really liked the emergency Spanish lesson at the end to get out of "linguistic" trouble when speaking or in a Spanish speaking environment. Also had some really helpful tools to look over like apps etc. to help along the journey. Overall this has been a big help and will continue to work through the learning curve to become fluent in this language. Thanks again!
