João is an excellent teacher who will prepare you and have you speaking Portuguese in no time. Thank you for the lesson! Although it was one of the most challenging lessons I've ever had, it was also a lot of fun. Trying different and new topics really helped me expand my vocabulary and having to talk about different topics and create new sentences also gave me a lot more confidence to speak in Portuguese.

Had to make up a full story that relates 5 separate images into a single narrative, and only using Portuguese. Was quite a challenge!

João thank you very much for the lesson. I really enjoy how you come up with new strategies to practice which are fun and at the same time very helpful to learn new vocabulary.

Discussed our favorite movies today and whether DC or Marvel is better.

Today I attended John’s video class. He is very influential and inspiring. Even though my English is still at a beginner level and sometimes quite confusing, he was able to understand me and give me clear guidance. He also tried his best to interact with me and make sure I could follow what he was saying. I believe he is an excellent language teacher, and I hope to have the opportunity to book more of his lessons in the future. Thank you.
