German teacher with a background in Psychology | Comprehensive speaking programs A1- C2 Hi, I’m Fenja. I’m originally from near Hamburg and now live in the Canary Islands, where life feels a bit slower and closer to nature. In my teaching, I draw on psychology to understand how people learn best. I focus on your pace and style to create a space that feels relaxed, supportive, and comfortable. My lessons are conversation-based and practical, helping you speak German with more ease and confidence. Grammar is there to support you, but the center of our lessons is always communication. Overall, I aim to create sessions that feel both grounded and engaging, where you can make real progress while feeling at ease. Drawing from my insights from Psychology, especially those about learning and educational psychology, I've designed my programs to place the student at its heart. For me, understanding each student's unique learning pace and style is paramount. I value patience and kindness, not just as personal principles, but as essential components in teaching. My goal is to ensure that every session feels comfortable, welcoming, and productive. My courses are geared towards one primary goal: improving your German speaking level. We always maintain a practice-oriented focus during our sessions, prioritizing the acquisition of new vocabulary.
