It's always a pleasure to work with Gabriela. We always practice the subjects which interest me and I get to improve my speaking skills. This is important to me because I get to learn new vocabulary that I know I will use in daily life and in which context to actually use them.

A real lovely, warm introduction! Gabriela is very patient and yet very enthusiastic and her love for life transcends through the screen. Very helpful, giving instant notes on vocabulary to learn so you can see there and then. I am looking forward to my next lesson with her and learning full, in depth layered, conversational Spanish in an exciting way.

Gaby y yo siempre tenemos conversaciones interesantes y divertidas. Hoy hablamos primero del viaje de Gaby a Perú y luego de un artículo que leí trata de las tensiones en las familias estadounidenses entre los padres y los niños en cuanto a celulares y las redes sociales.

Cuando hablo español, me siento como si fuera un crustáceo pequeño, navegando olas ominosas de vergüenza e incertidumbre...Pero al instante de comenzar la clase de Gaby, me siento como si fuera un tamal navideño: envuelto en optimismo, paciencia, y sinceridad—que es lo que me regala esta profesora tan especial. Y además de quitarme el miedo de hablar el español, Gaby incluso me curó de mi miedo a los monos salvajes! Ahora soy un aprendiz feliz.

Gabriela is a wonderful conversation partner, and quite talented in languages! I have practiced both Spanish and French with her. Her French pronunciation is excellent, which is rare for someone from Latin America. Our conversations are always fun, and have become the highlight of my week! Looking forward to many more.
