I highly recommend Sophie as a French tutor on iTalki! Sophie is incredibly responsible and genuinely cares about me as a student and as a person. She pays great attention to details and has a solid curriculum for TCF Canada prep. With her help, I refreshed my French and passed the B2 level in just 4 months! Sophie combines solid exam prep materials with engaging extras like interesting YouTubers, podcasters, and documentaries. Her patience is unmatched, making each lesson enjoyable and stress-free. What sets Sophie apart is her dedication to my progress and her knack for making learning fun. She understands my needs and adapts her teaching style accordingly. Sophie’s lessons are always well-organized, interactive, and filled with positive energy. If you’re looking for a tutor who is both effective and delightful, Sophie is the one!

I started lessons with Sophie four years ago when my level was at B1. Thanks to her support, I successfully passed the DALF C2 and can now confidently use French in my professional work. Working for the UN, I was also able to prepare effectively for the UN Language Proficiency Examination (LPE) with her support. As a DELF/DALF examiner, Sophie specializes in guiding students through effective preparation for any French exam, designing effective study plans to meet specific exam requirements. Her background in international affairs has also helped me navigate business communications with diplomats and UN colleagues.

Sophie's lesson give me lots of confidence. My French has enormous improved with her. Her teaching style is very natural, yet also structured and with good explanation and assistance how to improve. And she always sends vocabulary and suggestions after by email. I like Sophie's presence and kindness very much. Glad I found her.

The lessons with Sophie are very genuine and absolutely helpful. I learn so much in the role playing, which Sophie afterwards kindly comments on, corrects and hands all the vocabulary. She is just the right teacher for reaching my goal to pass the TCF test. And I am so glad I found her and can highly recommend her.
