I teach teens (16+) and adults, especially enjoying absolute beginners. I hold a Magistra Artium in Ethnology, Archaeology, and Sociology and worked as an archaeologist in Peru. In 2016 I started to teach German, face-to-face and online. My lessons are tailored to your goals—conversation, grammar, or culture—and are both practical and fun. Now based in Spain.

In my classes, I love to use structured methods with a variety of tools and an accompanying Google Document.
- Course A has its focus on grammar but also includes conversation elements, suitable for A1+ levels.
- Course B, suitable for A2+, covers cultural, literary, and daily conversations.
- Course C, designed for business students (A1-C1), focuses on grammar and professional dialogue, with optional exam prep.
My adaptable teaching includes interactive applications, real-world examples, and emphasizes continuous learning through homework and reviews. I have had German lessons with Heike over an extended period and have enjoyed and profited from the experience very much. She is patient and supportive, while also giving constructive feedback. The mood in the sessions is relaxed, but there is a clear focus on learning. As someone who has learned several languages herself, Heike has appreciation for the hurdles we face as language learners. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality German instruction.
