Hello! My name is Veronica! I'm 32 years old, I'm from Rome and I am a speech therapist, a freelance translator and a children entertainer:) I have a long work experience in the field of education. I lived in France during 1 year working as a children entertainer. Thanks to this experience I learnt to speak French very fluently. I am living in Spain now so I can fluently speak Spanish too:) I love travelling and meet new people from all over the world, knowing their cultural background and sharing mine. As to do so, I normally speak English, of course. Now I am also learning Portuguese thanks to a friend from Brasil. Work as a Speech therapist in my native language and learning other languages at the same time, gave me the opportunity to pay attention to the differences of articulation of the phonemes of every language I can speak. Actually I can give you some advices about how to pronounce a specific sound even if it doesn't belong in your native language. Furthermore, knowing the cultures of the languages I speak, allows me to create semantic links between slangs and expressions that normally are not possible to translate in a literally way. I truly believe in "learning by doing". Cannot recommend enough! This is what I needed to reach the next level. Books can take you far but at some point you need conversation to reach those words you don’t come across often. Veronica is very patient, intelligent, kind, and a brilliant teacher. She has a really good method of introducing new topics and interjecting when I dont know the right phrase. Her mastery of English is also impressive, being able to translate phrases easily on the spot is incredibly admirable and helpful. Very flexible vocabulary as well, being able to switch from complex geopolitical discussions to more clinical vocabulary, her knowledge as a speech therapist shines!

Incredibly kind and patient. Currently trying to reach B2 level fluency and she immediately matched my energy answering only in Italian (and English where necessary). Incredibly good at meeting me where I’m at and even created a google doc for me to expand my vocabulary.
