After over 200 lessons with Abby I can tell you that she is a very good teacher and person. I have been taking lessons regularly for about 2 years, and I am always happy to practice speaking with Abby. I learned a lot from her. Not just vocabulary and grammar, but also tons of tricky things such as certain expressions, word order, phrasal verbs, slang, idioms, etc. Thank you, Abby, for making my English much better! ^^

Abby is a highly qualified, intelligent and supportive teacher. The best thing about our lesson is that she picked up on my mistakes in grammar and wording in detail. Instead of cutting me off when I was speaking, it was very thoughtful of her to make written corrections and examples for me. Also, she asked concise yet thought-provoking questions to keep me thinking. I have realized that I didn't give a good account of myself in some of my answers, but I will do my best to be more productive next time.
