Lucia is a great teacher. Not only in explaining the language but also in reinforcing what you have learned. Through practice conversations, Lucia can point out areas that need to be worked on. I'm thankful to be studying with Lucia. When I was looking for a Spanish teacher, I specifically wanted someone from Chile since I'm planning to move there in about a year. Lucia is a great listener, diligently corrects my mistakes, and always helps me out when I lack the vocabulary to express myself. On top of that, she recommends grammar materials that I work on outside of our lessons. She maintains the perfect balance between structured speaking exercises and free conversation, which keeps the lessons both productive and engaging. Whenever we talk, I learn many interesting things about Chile and Latin America in general. During our lessons, she speaks very clear, neutral Spanish that is easy for learners from anywhere in the world to understand. At the same time, she can also explain Chilean expressions and regional vocabulary whenever you're interested in learning them.
