My name is Shirin, and I’m passionate about languages and connecting with people from all over the world. Originally from Iran and now living in Turkey, I speak Persian (my native language), French, English, and a bit of Turkish. My own journey learning new languages has made me patient, understanding, and always ready to encourage students who might feel shy or nervous. I love sharing my experiences and helping others gain confidence in speaking a new language. Je m’appelle Shirin, passionnée par les langues et les échanges culturels. Iranienne d’origine, je vis actuellement en Turquie. Ma langue maternelle est le farsi, mais je parle aussi le français, l’anglais et un peu de turc. Ayant moi-même appris plusieurs langues, je comprends les difficultés et j’encourage toujours mes élèves à dépasser leur timidité. Proof of Employment - Graybridge Malkam - 2021I have been working for this school since 2021, where I teach the Canadian my primary responsibility is to prepare candian public servents for a professional French language proficiency exam which assesses reading, writing, and speaking skills. On italki, I have been offering French exam preparation, particularly for the TCF and TEF exams, which while not identical, share similarities with other language proficiency exams. In all these exams, students must demonstrate similar skills.

Shirin has been incredibly helpful, patient, and supportive throughout my TEF preparation. She guided me in both writing and speaking, and with her help I achieved the scores I needed for NCLC 5. She provides very useful structures, strategies, and exam-focused formats that made a big difference in my preparation. I truly don’t think I could have done it without her guidance, combined with the effort I also put in on my side. Her coaching has proven to be effective, and I’m now working toward reaching NCLC 7. I’m excited to continue learning with Shirin.
