I've been taking lessons with Yvan for a year. Yvan is an excellent teacher. He is always well prepared and chooses very interesting videos/topics to discuss. His interview style conversation are incredible. He was able to improve my vocabulary, grammar and conversational skills a lot. I've taken lessons with multiple teachers on Italki and I would rank him as one of the best here. Thank you, Yvan.

Another enjoyable lesson with Yvan! If you need a conversation partner, he will set you at ease. We move freely between news, politics, travel, nightlife and sports, and he has truly helped eliminate my awkwardness having legitimate spontaneous discussions in French. Thanks again, Yvan!

Another great lesson with Yvan who has been helping me develop my spoken french. I am keen to improve across all areas as I would like to sit my DELF B1 later this year. Yvan has lots of materials and is able to focus and adapt lessons to fit with your priorities. He always has lots of ideas to generate conversation which pushes you but in a safe and encouraging environment!

Thanks for answering all my questions about the DELF B2, and for your encouragement and critique of my monologues. After so much practice and with the structure that you have helped me put together, talking on a random subject no longer seems so daunting and I feel (almost) ready for my exam next week.

Thanks Yvan. You have been fantastic at helping me to prepare for the DELF B2. I now feel more confident and less nervous for the exam itself. The preparation of the monologue has been particularly useful as have been your corrections and suggestions for improvements.

After taking lessons with Yvan for quite a while I can say that he is very professional and makes the lesson interesting. His choice of videos depend on the interest of the students. He is always well prepared with a list of questions to be discussed during the lesson which makes it interesting. We also did a job interview session where he prepared questions as if we are in a real interview which was a great way to practice especially if you are currently looking for a job in France. Overall, I would definitely recommend him if you really want to improve your speaking and vocabulary.
