María is patient, knowledgeable, and fun. I always look forward to my lessons with her. My Spanish has improved immensely since I began my lessons with her. I was just stumbling around with Duolingo and Rosetta Stone beforehand. While these are helpful, nothing can replace a caring and experienced teacher.

I have been studying with Maria for a few years. I was originally planning to move to Ecuador. as it turns out, we just moved to Guadalajara Mexico instead. So far, I have been able to shop at, supermarkets, tianguis, department stores, , make doctors appointments, visit the emergency room. schedule lab tests, schedule several beauty appointments for my wife, chat with Uber drivers, and generally do everything I need in Spanish. I know that my free ranging discussions and feedback from Maria are a large part of my being comfortable to express myself. she is very patient and I strongly recommend her as a teacher.
