With a 16-year journey in ESL education, my teaching career has taken me across borders and cultures. It began in South Korea, where I spent five years as an educator at YBM ECC.
Subsequently, I moved to the city of Madrid, completing an in-person TEFL certification and teaching with Academia Los Castillos. My time in Spain broadened my understanding of the unique challenges faced by language learners in different settings.
Embracing the digital age, I transitioned to online teaching, starting with a five-year stint at VIPKID. Over the last two years, I have diversified my online teaching experience by working with various companies, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.Ich als Lehrkraft

I see my role as a guiding hand, gently steering my students towards success. Lana is so nice and patient. She let me talk as much as I can. Then she corrected my wordings and grammar. She also gave me examples regarding to vocabulary or more native-like way.

Children usually dislike classes especially in summer. With Lana, my cousin is always excited for her lesson and is learning in a fun way! Highly recommended.
