My name is Eddy and I'm from Austin, Texas. My family is from El Salvador so I've been going to Central America my whole life. I love learning about new cultures and have been traveling around the world for the past 14 years. I have a Bachelors in International Relations from Saint Edward's University. Currently, I am living in South Korea and teaching at a private academy. Besides teaching, my passions are music, soccer, hiking and cooking. I enjoy meeting new people and having meaningful conversations.

Ich als Lehrkraft

I have been teaching English and Spanish for the past 6 years. I absolutely love it because everyday is different and rewarding! After receiving my TEFL certification, I began my teaching journey in South Korea in 2017 working with Kindergarten and Elementary. Eventually, I returned home and began teaching Spanish to adults, middle school and elementary students as well as coaching soccer. I decided to take on a new challenge and come back to Korea to teach English in a new setting and here I am. I have been teaching on Italki for several years now and it has been amazing to meet and help students from all over the world.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

In my class, I will gladly craft a lesson plan according to the student's needs. I provide my own materials and will guide you through them so there is no confusion. General conversation classes are available as well. If you have a textbook or any materials you wish to use, we can also go over them in class. I like to work on speaking according to your level and want to have lots of natural conversation to build confidence and talk about useful things in everyday life. I am patient, calm and friendly so don't be nervous! I know what it is like to learn a new language (Korean) and I will help you reach your goals regardless of your level.
