As a teacher, my aim is to encourage you, be patient, and understanding.
My main goal is to help you learn a language effectively and at your own pace, while also enjoying the entirety of the process.
Having fun is part of learning too :)
Still, an important part of mastering any language, is the amount of effort you put in. Not just in terms of the lessons themselves, but the work you do outside them.
That could be reading, listening to podcasts or watching TV shows.

My classes will be based on two methods primarily:
1. Informal lessons: During these lessons, the atmosphere is relaxed and fun. The aim is to speak as much Norwegian as possible, while also feeling like you're inching closer to grasping the language at a higher level. For this reason, informal lessons are a great starting point for anyone, regardless of your level.
2. Structured lessons: If you want a more structured approach to learning, using books might be the way to go. "På Vei" and "Stein På Stein" are both excellent resources to learn Norwegian and understand more about Norway. With these lessons, I also give homework and correct written texts you send me after class.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

It was extremely helpful to have one-on-one guidance on my pronunciation, especially with breaking some bad habitual pronunciation I've picked up.

The first lesson went well and helped clarify my current speaking level and language goals. I found Alex's method of asking me to clarify certain words and phrases and providing written feedback during the lesson very helpful. I'm looking forward to continuing with Alex.
