I would recommend Russell to any Chinese learner. I've had many classes with him and enjoyed them all.
Russell has a warm and patient personality which takes any nervousness out of speaking. He's also a great conversationalist and knowledgable about many topics – world events, history, basketball, etc. Our class time flies by and I always leave with lots of useful vocab.
