As a teacher, I prioritize my own patience and comprehension. It's crucial to my students' learning that I see past mistakes enough to accomplish a certain level of communication, meanwhile noticing the patterns and frequency of those errors to better understand how to correct them. I like to have fun with my students, and that means letting down my own wall a bit so that we both feel like we know the person who we're speaking with. The first session with me is typically free of lesson plans and study points. No matter the student's level of English, it's important to establish a fluid communication as a basis for the future of our classes. While we get to know each other, I am quietly taking notes on the student's habits in speaking English as well as their areas of interest to use as a focus for lesson plans. We will exercise all four areas of language: speaking, reading, writing and listening, but always with a heavier focus on speaking. As the classes progress we rotate through these areas while constantly adding vocabulary and grammar rules, as I help the student to fix their habits from the root of the mistakes.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial
