Hi there!
I am a certified Spanish teacher and I have been teaching Spanish online for over 9 years. I have a Degree in Education and a Diploma in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I am not currently teaching children. My students have different ages and levels of Spanish. The ages of my students range from 16 to 85 years old.
My goal is to help you improve your fluency in Spanish. When teaching Spanish as a foreign language, I focus on the 4 language skills: writing, reading, speaking and listening. However, it is important to focus on conversation and listening because they are fundamental tools for teaching any language.
Born in Venezuela and based in Barcelona, I bring together my passion for teaching, technology, writing, and cultural exchange. My secret? Tailored, dynamic lessons that adapt to your goals —never cookie-cutter classes. Whether you want to pass an exam or enjoy lively conversations, I’ll help you make Spanish part of your life.
I design my lessons according to the interests, needs and levels of my students. In my opinion it is very important that my lessons are interactive and fun covering all grammar topics. On the other hand, it is essential that the student feels connected with her teacher so that the lessons flow in the most appropriate way.

Adriana is the best teacher! She is always so prepared with material that clearly explains grammar areas that I can use improvement on and she expands on the grammar lesson by applying the grammar structure that we reviewed that day to create examples that are very applicable for me in my work. Adriana is an expert on Spanish grammar and explains it in a way that is easy to understand. She is also very flexible and if I ask her for advice on a topic, she easily changes the lesson to meet my needs and answers all of my questions. I feel so fortunate to have the best Spanish teacher! Thank you Adriana for all of your help!
