Rocio is a fantastic teacher-- She's calm, creative, patient and a good conversationalist. I started taking lessons with Rocio four months ago before visiting Mexico. Currently I'm enrolled in a Spanish language school in Mexico and meet with Rocio three times a week to practice my pronunciation and improve my speaking and comprehension skills. I appreciate Rocio calmness and how she is very patient when I mispronounce words, or don't know a word, or if I use the wrong verb conjugation. She is also always sharing online resources with me to help improve my skills and is always willing to help me with my homework if I ask for help. I highly recommend Rocio.

Today, just like all lessons with Rocío, my lesson was challenging and enlightening, and customized based on one of our previous conversations. As an advanced student, I feel that it's critical to find someone who understands nuances of a language to be able to define textbook versus vernacular, how to break down colloquialisms, situational usage, caveats, and the irregular structures of words or phrases that a guidebook and language app may not be able to capture. I recommend Rocío as a tutor and educational provider to everyone who is ready to invest in their Spanish learning journey.
