Hello! My name is Tisha, and I am a native English speaker. I currently live in Virginia, U.S, but travel a lot. I spent almost 20 years working at a university, and now I teach classes online for a software company. I like to learn about other cultures history, beliefs, and customs. My family is from Peru, and I have been learning Spanish using italki for a few years, so I know learning a new language can be tough. I would like to be able to help you learn my native language, English.

We can have structured conversations, where we practice a few things or have an informal, free-flowing conversation. Whatever is best for you and your development. My goal is to help you achieve your goals. We can talk about a variety of topics. The goal is to help you learn how to communicate in English.

My role is to support you in achieving your goals and help you become more confident with speaking English. All my lessons are flexible and tailor to your needs. We many discuss a news items one day or talk about each other’s cultures, while you practice speaking in English.
