Hi, I’m Jian, a native Korean tutor from South Korea.
I enjoy helping people feel more comfortable using Korean in real conversations, not just studying it from textbooks.
I have a background in psychology, which naturally influences how I teach and communicate. I’m curious about human behaviour, emotions, relationships, and everyday experiences, so conversations with me usually feel natural and engaging rather than forced or repetitive.
I’m also very familiar with Korean culture and content, including daily life in Korea, social trends, dramas, online culture, slang, and memes. This helps students understand not only the language itself, but also how Korean is actually used in real situat
Ich als Lehrkraft
As a teacher, I focus on making students feel comfortable and confident when speaking Korean.
I believe learning a language works best when you feel relaxed, supported, and genuinely interested in the conversation.
Rather than correcting every small mistake, I help students notice patterns and improve naturally over time. I give feedback in a clear and friendly way, so it doesn’t interrupt the flow of conversation or make students feel nervous.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My lessons are conversation-based and feel more like a fun and meaningful chat than a traditional classroom lesson.
We focus mainly on speaking and listening, and I also provide support for writing when needed. Feedback is given naturally during the conversation, so students can immediately understand how to sound more natural in Korean.
Students are always welcome to start in English and slowly move into Korean. This helps many learners feel less pressure and speak more freely.
I usually recommend my lessons for upper beginners and above, especially for students who already know basic Korean and want to improve fluency, confidence, and natural expression through real conversations.
