Daisuke

Daisuke-san is a great teacher. He is easy to talk to, patiently waits while I try to form a sentence, uses vocabulary and grammar in conversation that stretches me without being overwhelming, and helpfully critiques my grammar and pronunciation. I also appreciate that he can give me cultural insight into word choice for synonyms.

Daisuke is a great conversationalist. He puts me at ease and helps me overcome my fear of making mistakes. He shows genuine interest in what I have to say. His constructive comments encourage me to continue improving my Japanese language skills .

I just had my first lesson with Daisuke, and he's a star! He is very friendly, and even though I am a beginner, we spent the whole lesson chatting in Japanese!
