We chatted about what's been happening our lives and just getting to know each other a bit. We're working right now on using the subjunctive properly. I'm enjoying the sessions and look forward to learning more from him. It's also very interesting to learn about Chile.

Felipe ha sido mi único maestro durante 2 años. Este mes es el 2nd aniversario! Por lo general, nos reunimos dos veces por semana. Con la instrucción de Felipe, mi español ha pasado de casi cero a, diría yo, intermedio alto. Cada lección es desafiante pero interesante y divertida. Hablamos de un teme diferente cada clase y trabajamos la gramática al mismo tiempo. Con su paciencia y ayuda, ya no tengo miedo de intentar de hacer una conversación. Cometo errores, por supuesto pero mi español mejora cada clase. Es un maestro dotado. No podria haber llegado tan lejos sin su excelente enseñanza.

I completely forgot about our lesson today and didn't show. It's completely my fault as I failed to set a reminder in my phone. Felipe is amazing.

I really enjoyed our first lesson. I'm a fluent speaker looking to perfect my Spanish and find the gaps in my ability to speak perfectly. He was very attentive to this and gave me real time feedback which is exactly what I need.
