Today was a special lesson for me - it was my 200th class, a kind of anniversary, and it feels like the perfect moment to share my appreciation for Jesús, my teacher. I’m truly happy with the results so far and with the progress I’ve made. I’ve learned a lot, both in terms of language and confidence. What I value most is that we always have something interesting to talk about. Our conversations cover many different topics, which helps me practice vocabulary from a wide range of fields. The lessons never feel repetitive, and they always keep me motivated. I also really appreciate Jesús’s sense of humor - it makes learning enjoyable and relaxed, and the time flies during our classes. Even though I still have two trial classes available on Italki, I honestly don’t want to use them, because I’m very happy with my teacher and plan to continue learning with him.

I was very nervous since it was my first iTalki lesson. And he adjusted his speaking speed to match my level of understanding. He was neatly dressed, which I appreciated. (On the other hand, I hadn’t really thought about it and was just wearing a T-shirt, so I felt sorry about that.) During the lesson, he tried to ask questions based on the interests listed on my profile, but he didn't seem to have reviewed in advance. He provided accurate feedbacks on my mistakes. But from the very beginning of trial clase, when he commented that my name sounded Chinese, although I'm korean, honestly it sounded little rude for me, it really lowered my motivation. Also, during the lesson, he seemed quite tired and yawned several times, which made me feel like he didn’t really want to have me as a student. At the end of the lesson, I got disconnected due to a connection issue, but I chose not to rejoin. I feel sorry to this tutor, but I honestly didn’t want to go back...

Me siento muy afortunado/a de haber tenido la oportunidad de probar las clases de español de Jesús. Es un profesor muy riguroso y dedicado. Si estás buscando a alguien que te enseñe la pronunciación correcta, la gramática y más vocabulario, definitivamente deberías probar una clase con Jesús.
