Hou Ge

Hou Ge is very friendly and well prepared for classes. He has helped me attain better accuracy with tones and immediately gives new phrases and sentences to work on. I would highly recommend him for those who have taken some Chinese before or beginners.

I love this teacher!!! He's always willing to help and has helped me a lot so far. He knows how to use new technologies very well, which means that online classes are as good as the normal ones. I'll keep working with him for sure!!!

Hou Ge’s classes are super fun and interactive for kids. He prepares activities that require students to improvise and think on their feet— excellent for improving natural conversational skills. He incorporates stories, mental math, brain twisters, cultural events, and other relevant topics into his lessons, which encourages my kids to draw from their prior knowledge of Chinese and utilize them with the new information presented each class. With his background in science and engineering, I’m hoping to see more science included as well. Hou Ge is easy to talk to, and an excellent and unique teacher.

I enjoyed my time with Hou ge哥哥. He was quite the engaging and optimistic guy. Will def. be taking another class with him!
