Hello! My name is Alicia!
I am from the United States and have a neutral, American accent.
I live in the state of Iowa. It's a state in the central part of the United States, and it is agricultural and rural. Corn and soybeans are the most grown crops.
I was raised in a multicultural home where both English and Spanish were spoken, and I am fluent in both languages.
My hobbies include spending time with my family, cat, and friends. I enjoy learning about other cultures and its people, food, and history. I enjoy cooking, listening to music, and watching movies, series, and sports.Ich als Lehrkraft
I am a qualified teacher with a TEFL certificate and have seven years of experience working with English language learners in both American public schools and online.
I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. When I worked in American public schools, I supported English learners from elementary to high school. I supported English learners that had immigrated to the United States, so I understand the struggle of learning a new language and trying to adapt to a new culture.
As an online teacher, I have met with hundreds of students from different countries, and mainly adults and teenagers.
