Kaori-sensei is truthfully the best teacher there is. Throughout my 6 years of studying with her, Kaori-sensei has always adapted to my needs. She has managed to keep the lessons interesting and engaging throughout the years. I have learned to much about the language and culture. She helped me to get from basic hiragana knowledge to being able to hold a conversation with native Japanese speakers. I’m very grateful to Kaori-sensei for my progress!

Kaori Sensei is a great teacher. She always seems prepared, and is good at explaining new topics. I have improved so much in the past few months thanks to her teaching, and I highly recommend her lessons to anyone else wanting to learn Japanese.

I highly recommend Kaori sensei. She is very experienced, patient and she always introduces interesting materials, articles, websites etc, to combine my interests with appropriate grammar and relevant vocabulary. Kaori sensei is able to explain grammar questions well - she really knows her stuff! In addition, she is engaging and energetic, which makes her an excellent teacher.

Kaori-san is a wonderful teacher. Kaori's lessons are structured into topics and cover not only new words and grammar, but she also teaches you about Japanese culture and customs. Additionally, since we put theory into practice right away, I retain the information easily. I wholeheartedly recommend taking lessons with Kaori if you want to learn Japanese!

I’ve had 15 lessons with Kaori-sensei now and I’ve really enjoyed our lessons! She is a great teacher with a lot of patience and time for a student like me who may take a little longer to grasp concepts. I enjoy the tailored content for my specific level, and Kaori-sensei is also open to whether I have something I want to learn specifically, or if I don’t, to put a lesson plan together. I look forward to more lessons with Kaori-sensei!
