I had taught kids from 3 to 12 years old. Usually the lessons would be taken with a small group of 6 kids. I am so glad that I could learn how to combine the games and learning together to help kids study a language with so mucn fun! It really helps me make lessons fun and let students enjoy our Chinese class!

Sylvia is the best language teacher I have met, and my Chinese has improved very much working with her. She speaks slowly when I need it, but also pushes me to grow in each lesson. She has always been on time for lessons, has a positive and encouraging attitude, explains Chinese cultural references, integrates my things from my life and around the world to our lesson. She has also prepared customized reading practice and notes from our lessons. If you are looking for someone to learn Chinese from, you should really have a lesson with her.

It was a great first lesson. We did it over Skype and there was a little bit of static/noise but we did our lesson just fine. I like Sylvia's method of teaching, it was very low-stress, and I felt like I learned a lot. I would highly recommend Sylvia if you're looking for a Chinese teacher.
