Hello! My name is Karina. I’m from Moscow, and I’ve been teaching Russian for the past three years. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Philology (Slavic Studies) and experience working with Russian texts at a publishing house. For the last two years, I’ve been living in Milan.
Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication Cultures at the University of Milan.
Ich als Lehrkraft
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Slavic Philology, and I have been teaching Russian for two years. I have extensive experience working with students from different backgrounds and with different needs — from beginners to advanced learners, and from those who are simply interested in learning Russian to those who need it for work.
I also have strong experience preparing students for university Russian language exams, both English-speaking and Italian-speaking.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I usually work with students using one main textbook and complement it with additional materials: extra grammar exercises (if we want to explore a specific topic in more depth), reading texts (news or fiction), listening activities (modern Russian cinema, news, stand-up comedy, podcasts, or audio from the textbook), and writing tasks.
I suggest focusing on the textbook, as it provides a clear and systematic understanding of the language. At the same time, I always base my lessons on the student’s interests and needs. When necessary, I adapt my methodology to each individual student, although my core approach is communicative.
I can also teach in English and Italian.
