I am English, raised in the South East and have a clear understandable dialect. I live in the North of Italy with my daughter and two Siberian huskies. I spend my time developing my house, walking, swimming, cooking and learning Italian.
I love to keep my mind active, and meet new people. Therefore teaching really enriches my life and hopefully other people's too.Ich als Lehrkraft
I took an advanced TEFL course and then began teaching on-line with another group in 2017.
In person I have tutored an Italian University student and a marketing manager in an international olive oil company. These students had one to one lessons in my home and at the office respectively.
I offer lessons or practice for all ages, and also have time slots for proof reading and voice over recording.

Please take a look at my student reviews for more information. Expect to have lessons in my home, by the sea and in the mountains. The relaxing scenery will help us stay focused on your learning without the stress of a busy city surrounding.
If you enjoy kinetic learning I will plan you an activity in line with our lesson plan. We can bake traditional British dishes, or create simple craft wears together. The memories of the activity will help to stimulate recall of what was learned during the lesson. I also like to use flashcards, quizzes and media.
If you are an advanced learner complicated grammar rules and written homework to underpin the learning points can be set for you.5.0

Gemma is an awesome teacher, you can see she cares about your learning and she makes lessons really enjoyable.
Another thing I like is that she's passionate about the origin of words/idioms, and her explanations really help to get those stick in your head.
I can't recommend her enough!
