I was born and raised in Siberia. I now reside in New York and work at a university library. I specialize in working with Intermediate level and conversational Russian learners. My sessions can be structured or non-structured depending on your needs and preferences. I have plenty of ready to use PDFs on a variety of topics to help learners with vocabulary, grammar, reading and conversation skills. Expect some lesson notes and a light homework.
I am a tad introverted which makes me a great listener. I am fluent in English and conversational in Spanish, but we will be using (basic) Russian most of the time. I also enjoy working with small groups of learners, so couples are welcome. Cheers!
I started teaching Russian at a local nonprofit several years ago to promote learning my native language and to help learners advance their speaking skills. I was delighted to see my students progress in conversational Russian, while having fun studying and practicing together. I gained some invaluable experience and a load of amazing teaching materials.
