I am a scientist by training and have been interested in languages throughout my life. Growing up in Bombay, I learnt multiple Indian languages- Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and Konkani and went to an English language school at 3 years of age. I have also learnt basic French and Italian. I am a story teller at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco and have learnt the art of story telling with experts in the field. I enjoy reading books by authors from all over the world, especially short-stories and historical novels. I have written and published numerous scientific articles in a variety of books and journals.

Ich als Lehrkraft

I started tutoring since my college days, necessitated by the need to earn so I could pay my way through college. After I earned my PhD, I have mentored many students and continue to do so even now. I enjoy drafting study plans which make learning fun and less challenging, while also meeting the students' objectives. I am passionate about language and teaching and bringing the two together will be very exciting for me and I will make sure that the student will enjoy the classes as well.

I prepare study plans designed to fulful the student's learning objectives. I will blend structured teaching with free flow of conversation, so as to have a relaxed atmosphere. I will use measurable metrics to monitor progress. I will sue a lot of my story-telling techniques in teaching the language- both speaking as well as grammar.
