Hello!
I am a native Italian speaker who's been studying English throughout her whole life.
Besides Italian, my other strengths are English and French. I have a double degree in English and French (Levels C1/C2), an IELTS certification (C1 to C2) and I've just obtained my TEFL certification to teach English as a Second Language. I am a copywriter, social media manager and translator too!
I grew up with a natural passion for foreign languages and cultures and I've been teaching English, French and Italian for more than 10 years.
I've lived in France and Canada and travelled across the US and Europe. Currently, I'm living in Milano, but I'm looking forward to moving to the far East...Ich als Lehrkraft
I have +10 years of experience in teaching ESL to students (mostly middle school, high school and adults) from any language level, specialising in student-centric lessons based on grammar and vocabulary (not in a boring way!), exam preparation, sentence structures, pronunciation and accent reduction, compelling conversations, professional development and job interviews, delivering presentations.
Two of my characteristics are immense patience and a real passion for teaching! I am creative and compassionate and my ultimate goal is to convey a love for new languages to my students, by inspiring them, making them feel comfortable and by creating an engaging learning experience.Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I create lesson plans responsive to individual students' needs in relation to their aims and skills they want to improve, always trying to put the theory into real-life contexts. Before crafting lesson plans, I assess the needs and goals of my students to establish an engaging learning path together.

Another great lesson with Silvia! She is fun and always polite, her class suits all my need on grammar, listening and conversations, and she understands the difficulties in language learning. She provides me with the passages and websites for learning French which I think are great help. I highly recommend Silvia, and you can always practice with her like a good friend, thank you so much for the class!
