Dena brings so much energy to language learning. She demystifies language and brings fun to the process of achieving my goals. There's a wonderful focus on how language is actually used in the day-to-day of Spanish life, and lessons are particularly well tailored to language and skills that the student is likely to need and use. I'd recommend this teacher to everyone, including beginners. Dena has endless energy, and supply of tips, tricks and resources to help you! Dena's awesome at bringing all students inclusively into languages, too.

From the very start, Dena makes you feel at ease and creates a positive learning environment. She genuinely is the "Queen of Resources", encourages me to practise speaking, and clearly explains the use of "real-life" Spanish. Really great teaching style and makes the lessons fun, would strongly recommend!

Dena is so amazing! I appreciate her taking things slow and doing some refreshers to help me remember Spanish. She also does a great job of explaining things and asking me questions to understand why I may have said something a certain way. I’m excited every time we meet! I’ll be scheduling many more sessions until I’m fluent!!!

Learning Spanish with Dena is so much fun! She's a great conversationalist so it feels more like chatting with a friend than being in a class. Her easy balance of talking and listening gives the student time to practice both comprehension and expression and she corrects mistakes in a way that doesn't derail the conversation. She's energetic (but not overwhelming), kind, patient, and interesting. I've learned so much from our sessions...I highly recommend Dena!
