My name is Giorgia, I am 33 years old and I am Italian. I have a master’s degree in Japanese and I have been living in South America for 8 years. I have been working as a teacher for more than 8 years and I am passionate teaching my own language, my second mother language which is Spanish, and Japanese to which I have dedicated more than 6 years oIch als Lehrkraft
I have never liked boring lessons and I like dynamism, so I would define myself a teacher who likes that students can learn having fun and with joy. At the same time, I adore grammar and I think it is very important to study and internalize it in order to speak well a foreign language. Finally, during my classes I like to speak a little bit about culture of the language we are studying and to do some language structure’s comparisons which are very interesting to understand how languages work (a little bit of linguistics help).Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My classes are dynamic and interactive, focused to see a language like an alive creature which we have to use to communicate with people. Grammar studies and explications with its practice will always be a part of our classes, with pronunciation exercises, dictates, reading, role plays and listening. Usually I prepare PPTs to present each class’s grammar points and I also prepare some little review exercises and supplementary worksheet as homework.Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

I had a great first lesson with Giorgia. It was really fun chatting with her and I loved how she corrected me when I said something incorrect or that sounded like a literal translation from another language. I also liked that she suggested a plan for the next sessions and asked me how I felt about it. I look forward to learning with her.

Session started 10 minutes late and was interrupted by her baby who need the tutors attention frequently throughout the session. The lesson was unstructured and disorganized and the tutor could not provide her full attention.

Giorgia is one of the best! I have learned so much already with her. She provides good material and meets my needs when it comes to finding a balance between structured grammar lessons and unstructured (super fun!) conversation. She does a fantastic job of correcting me whenever I try to speak Italian using grammar or vocabulary from the other languages I know. I definitely recommend her.
