I'm a French native speaker currently living in Chile. Before that, I lived in Germany for 8 years, where I studied Political Science. I'm currently completing a Master's degree in Political Science.

I’ve been teaching for 9 years, both online and in person, to a wide variety of learners from children to adults, from complete beginners to advanced students, and from many different cultural backgrounds. This experience helps me adapt easily to your individual needs and learning pace.

My lessons are mainly based on conversation. If you're not ready to speak freely yet, we’ll start by learning the basics (vocabulary, grammar, and simple structures), and then move to guided conversation using tools like Google Docs.
The goal is always to expand the conversation time little by little. As you progress, the lessons become more and more focused on speaking. Eventually, you’ll be able to hold full conversations in French or German, with confidence.5.0

Comme toujours, j'ai de très bons cours avec Mélanie. Après avoir appris le français pendant un certain temps, j'ai commencé à être frustré par la grammaire et c'est pourquoi j'ai décidé de commencer des cours de grammaire avec Mélanie. Depuis quelques mois/cours avec elle, j'ai l'impression d'avoir beaucoup appris. Chaque cours avec Mélanie est très intense et elle est toujours bien préparée. Elle connaît très bien le sujet et elle a également fourni des explications très claires. Je me sens maintenant beaucoup plus à l'aise avec la grammaire française qu'avant et c'est grâce à une excellente prof comme Mélanie. Merci beaucoup Mélanie !

I always have a big smile after a class with Melanie. After a few lessons, she’s figured out exactly what I need and I am so happy with my progress. She is serious about what she does but is really fun to work with. She is easy and patient.
