Steff

My lessons with Steff have been such a joy! He strikes a great balance between free-flowing conversation and correction, while offering super useful suggestions on word choice/formulations that have helped my German become more natural and idiomatic. Teaching online is so difficult, but Steff is able to foster the type of welcoming, friendly and fun atmosphere that is ideal for language learning. Steff's lessons are highly personalized, and can be as structured or as spontaneous as you like. It has been a true pleasure working with him!!

Steff is an excellent teacher. He always adapts to my requests and uses the style I prefer. This means that from lesson to lesson the focus can shift from grammar to speaking, from pronunciation to common phrases to use in everyday life. He always gives good tips for memorising grammar rules, giving examples and suggestions. He is a positive and open person who makes the lessons enjoyable and fun. Last but not least, he is flexible and always tries to accomodate requests for different time/day. Weiter so!

German lessons with Steff are always fantastic! Every lesson is clearly structured, allowing for free conversation alongside the materials or plan for the day. He not only corrects mistakes, but also gives suggestions as to alternative expressions (so you don't repeat yourself), or better expressions (that sound more natural). Steff also makes all of the notes, so you can just focus on speaking! I highly recommend classes with Steff. After just a few months I feel that my German has come such a long way, and I don't feel it would have been possible without his help!

Lessons with Steff are always super helpful and I walk away with a sense of accomplishment. It’s always interesting to look back and to see how far I’ve come. Excellent teacher!
