Farha Yeasmin

So far I've had 6 lessons with Farha. She is always well prepared and the teaching material is very well focused on everyday language which is exactly why I was looking for. We begin the lesson with reviewing my homework (sentences I translated myself) and she gives useful feedback, for example that some things that are grammatically correct are not what you would use in real life. I'm taking the classes with an 8 month old baby by my side but Farha is very patient and stays focused through all the distractions.

Farha is an excellent teacher

I’ve had over 20 lessons with Farha and they are always super helpful and fun. Farha doesn’t hesitate to correct my pronunciation but also does it in such a kind way. She sometimes tells me what my mistakes could mean (it’s nothing like what I want to say) and it’s always so funny. Farha also sheds light on the cultural implications behind certain phrases. Last but not least, Farha makes her lessons so affordable and worth the money. I always leave her class with a ton of knowledge in a such a short time. After taking lessons for 5 months (30 min lessons once every week), I’ve been able to sound out words and read. I can follow along songs with lyrics in Bangla and even sing along. Do try to book her for your lessons and you’ll see what I mean!
