Miqueias Santos

I've been working with Miqueias for a few months now, and my Portuguese has improved a lot since then! Miqueias helps me understand tougher concepts and improve my pronunciation while having a lot of fun. He's given me a lot of resources to use outside of our class time, and always comes prepared with structured lessons based on what we've been reviewing. He's consistent and quick to give feedback and respond to messages. When I have questions outside of our lessons, he puts in a lot of time to give me thorough answers with examples. If you want a teacher that is 100% invested in your improvement, Miqueias is your guy!

Excelente professor! As aulas são bem organizadas, dinâmicas e adaptadas aos meus objetivos de aprendizagem. A gramática é explicada de forma clara, com exemplos práticos, e o professor sempre se certifica de que eu entendi antes de avançar. Sinto-me muito mais confiante ao falar português e percebo um progresso constante desde que comecei as aulas. É paciente, atencioso e realmente comprometido com o meu desenvolvimento. Recomendo fortemente para quem quer aprender português com qualidade.

I had a really great experience learning Portuguese with him. He explains things clearly and in a way that actually makes sense, especially when the grammar gets tricky. What I appreciated most is that he doesn’t just rush through. He makes sure you understand why something works the way it does. He helped me build real confidence speaking, not just memorizing. The lessons felt structured but still relaxed, and I left feeling like I had genuinely improved. If you’re serious about learning properly, he’s an excellent teacher.

Miqueias is a very good teacher who takes time to understand what your goals are for Portuguese. My goals are to understand and speak Portuguese for my trip to Brasil. He is tailoring the classes for real world convos that I will have. Looking forward to the next class with him!
