Have had a few classes with Silva now. And I must say she has a good learning technique and mainly focuses on tones, which I haven't felt that other teachers that I have have done. The result has made me more aware of when I am speaking mandarin myself. And it has also become easier for me to understand the grammar after she explained different words and characters where and when to use them, which I didn't know avlut before🥰

Silvia is an excellent teacher. She is friendly and patience. The lesson is highly customized to suitable my need and I can see that she has put in a lot of thoughts into making the lessons useful and fun. Highly recommend.

Silvia 老师 has many positive traits: encouraging, energetic & positive, just to name a few. You will never run out of topics speaking with her. I have taken classes with many iTalki teachers and Silvia stands out as one of the few who is attentive towards pronunciation. She does so in a way which still allows me, the student, to still practice speaking. This is crucial when it comes to effective language learning if your goal, like many, is to speak. Many people's goals are set to just get their msg through but if your goal is anything like mine, which is to not only communicate but communicate in a clear & concise manner, I encourage you to try a class with Silvia. Don't Settle for anybody less. Effective speaking & communication is an Art. Some are gifted with it and many like you and me are here to learn.
