I’m Naomi, a Hebrew teacher based in Jerusalem, and I help learners of all levels make sense of the language and the culture behind it. I hold an MA in Linguistics from the Hebrew University and a BA in Italian Studies.
In our lessons, we’ll build a strong grammatical foundation, but balance it with slang, songs, literature, and the delightful chaos of everyday Israeli speech. Whether you're learning Hebrew for work, travel, exams, or just to survive a Friday dinner with relatives, I’ll help you develop real skills.
As a teacher, I’m patient, supportive, and enthusiastic about helping my students learn Hebrew. My passion for languages fuels an approach that emphasizes speaking, writing, and listening from the very first lesson. I believe anyone can learn Hebrew with the right guidance. Let’s tackle one of the world’s oldest (and loudest!) languages together!
My teaching style is personalized, focused on your unique goals and interests, whether that's reading Hebrew poetry or finally understanding what is דווקא. Naomi is a great teacher. Hebrew isn't always the easiest, but with her help and encouragement I've made it through level alef to level bet. As someone who loves grammar, I appreciate that she like it too, but also that she always has fun vocabulary words to add to what is given in the materials.
